Fly tying speckled moose hair by Nature's Spirit - yellow.

A fairly stiff hair with fine to medium diameter.

If we want only the splaying properties in a flared hair we go to moose body hair instead of bucktail.

Similar in length and texture to standard moose body hair only with a mix of white, brown, and black colours that give lovely variation even once dyed.  An interesting material which can be used to wrap bodies as well as for tails and wings.
