About Us

We are a family run business, inspired to start Tie This by a lifelong love of fly fishing and fly tying. After a break from fly tying, and a move to a different continent, I initially felt a little overwhelmed by all the new fly types and materials available, so the original drive was to simplify the learning process and make it more accessible to entry level tyers.

 

I set up my YouTube channel to build some tutorials to encourage new tyers and explain the process of crafting a range of flies. This then spiralled, and Tie This was born.

 

With such a wide range of natural and synthetic fly tying materials now available, our aim is to provide quality materials and equipment, that we would be happy to tie with, at reasonable prices. Customer services is central to our brand, and we are always available for advice regarding both the materials and fly tying.
